Know your audience

  • When it comes to maximizing your earnings, regardless of whether you have limited resources or not, the smartest way to market yourself and your product is to always know your audience! Know who you are marketing to, what they need, what they want, and how to get it to them. It sounds like simple business 101 (and it is!) but so often we get caught up in other things that we need a primer.

    In the gentlemen's club industry this ranges from who your next lap dance will be for (don't hustle the vendors!) to which club you can feature for next, for entertainers. For vendors it can mean knowing which clubs are in a growth phase and who their typical patrons are whether you are selling your own brand of alcohol, furniture, lighting / sound equipment or any club related product really. And for staff it can mean who is hiring, where is a good fit for you personally, where you'll be happiest as a DJ, bouncer, GM, bartender etc. Hustling for work and dollars isn't just relegated to the dancers!

     

    There is a lot of money to be made in this industry for everyone to go around and be happy. Know your audience!
